Accountant

Job Objective

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Accountant to support the Finance & Accounts team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and assisting with timely reporting and compliance. This role offers hands‑on exposure across multiple accounting functions and contributes to the smooth day‑to‑day operations of the finance department.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions across AP, AR, and GL modules.
• Assist with invoice preparation, billing, and follow‑up on customer payments.
• Perform basic reconciliation tasks, including bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support the preparation of journal entries and monthly closing activities.
• Assist with VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify financial data.
• Help manage petty cash records and staff expense claims.
  
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
  
  

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of UAE VAT compliance is an advantage.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy and basic reconciliation skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to system‑based processes.
  
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Exposure to a manufacturing or project‑based industry is an added advantage but not mandatory.
