Analyst / Associate – Private Equity

This role sits within the investment team of a private equity firm with a permanent capital structure, investing across private and public markets in high-quality and deep-value businesses spanning the full capital spectrum. The Analyst or Associate will support deal origination, execution, and portfolio monitoring with a focus on secondaries and co-investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse secondaries and co-investment opportunities
• Build financial and valuation models to support investment decisions
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal review
• Support deal execution processes from initial screening through to close
• Maintain and update deal pipeline tracking
• Monitor portfolio company performance on an ongoing basis
• Engage with fund managers and sponsors as part of deal and relationship activity
• Track private equity market trends and relevant developments
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Up to three years of relevant full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, or a closely related area
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CFA, CAIA, or a comparable qualification — or demonstrated progress toward one — is an advantage
