The Hygienist is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving hygiene, sanitation, environmental monitoring, and pest management programs to ensure food safety, regulatory compliance, and the production of safe, high-quality products.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
- Lead and maintain factory hygiene, cleaning, and sanitation programs to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Manage environmental monitoring, microbiological verification, and hygiene inspections to identify and mitigate contamination risks.
- Oversee pest management activities and drive corrective actions to maintain a hygienic manufacturing environment.
- Ensure effective implementation of hygienic zoning, personnel practices, and contamination prevention controls.
- Conduct hygiene audits, trend analyses, and root cause investigations, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Support compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, Halal, and regulatory requirements, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
- Deliver training and coaching to employees and contractors on hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen food safety culture and operational excellence.
- Bachelor Degree in Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology ,etc.…
- Must Have experience in UAE, And know the food safety standards and regulations in Dubai.
- From 3 to 5 Years of experience in Food Manufacturing/ Hospitality.
- Must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
