On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Attendant – Uniform Control to join the resort’s Uniform Control team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Issue and receive uniforms to and from employees using the automated uniform conveyor system.
  • Ensure uniforms are clean, presentable, and properly stored in designated areas.
  • Assist with uniform fittings under the guidance of the Supervisor.
  • Label and tag uniforms accurately for tracking and identification purposes.
  • Support inventory checks by counting and organizing uniform stock.
  • Report any damages or discrepancies in uniform stock to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the uniform storage and distribution areas.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  • Assist tailors and seamstresses with basic garment handling tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Assistant Manager.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in uniform control, laundry, or housekeeping operations is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of garment care and handling procedures.
  • Ability to operate uniform conveyor systems and RFID tracking tools (training provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit to handle uniform stock and perform inventory tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in back-of-house areas with high foot traffic and operational activity.
  • Be conversant with laundry procedures for various fabric types.
  • Exposure to garment storage systems, and automated uniform distribution technologies.
  • Requires physical mobility to conduct uniform inspections, fittings, and inventory checks.
  • Must maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling employee uniform records and personal data.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Remain flexible and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
  • Must maintain confidentiality when handling employee uniform records.
  • Collaborative team environment with opportunities for learning and growth.
  • Adapt quickly to new processes and responsibilities.
