InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
• Deliver exceptional service by building genuine guest relationships, anticipating preferences, and creating memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.
• Actively promote and upsell signature beverages, seasonal offerings, pastries, and other menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and achieve revenue targets.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all beverage and food offerings, confidently recommending products tailored to each guest's tastes and preferences.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and service excellence, reflecting the luxury standards of the hotel.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and barista equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing service interruptions.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, proactively communicating replenishment requirements to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock inventory, and food safety standards.
• Comply with all food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and health & safety regulations while consistently maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Build guest loyalty by recognizing returning guests, remembering preferences where appropriate, and promoting hotel dining experiences, loyalty programs, and special promotions to drive repeat business.
• Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage team to identify opportunities for increased sales, guest engagement, and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-end environment.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to connect with guests and team members.
• A natural, outgoing personality with a passion for delivering excellence in service.
• Ability to work well within a team, supporting colleagues and adapting to a variety of tasks with a positive attitude.
