Camp Boss

IRTH Contracting is seeking an experienced and proactive Camp Boss to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of our labour accommodation facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that accommodation standards are maintained in compliance with UAE regulations and company policies while promoting a safe, clean, and organized living environment for employees.
As part of our growing construction operations, this role plays a critical part in supporting workforce welfare, camp administration, and coordination between site teams, HR, transport, and facility service providers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operation and administration of labour accommodation facilities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labour accommodation regulations, municipality requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor camp occupancy, room allocations, transfers, and employee accommodation records.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and maintenance standards are maintained.
- Coordinate housekeeping, pest control, waste management, laundry, and other camp services.
- Liaise with maintenance teams and external vendors to ensure timely resolution of facility issues.
- Monitor utility consumption and report any irregularities or wastage.
- Handle employee accommodation-related concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate transportation schedules and workforce movements between camps and project sites when required.
- Maintain accurate records of camp residents, inventories, assets, and consumables.
- Prepare periodic reports on camp operations, occupancy levels, maintenance activities, and welfare matters.
- Support emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Enforce camp rules and regulations while maintaining a positive living environment for employees.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Camp Boss, Camp Supervisor, or similar role within the UAE construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour accommodation regulations and camp management practices.
- Experience managing large labour accommodations and multicultural workforces.
- Good administrative and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with HR, Administration, Transport, and Project teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is required; Arabic language is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
