Job Description

The Captain Waiter (Arabic Speaker) is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by supervising a designated station within the All Day Dining restaurant, ensuring efficient service operations, and maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality. The role requires fluency in Arabic and English, strong leadership abilities, excellent guest relations skills, and prior experience in an upscale hotel dining environment.

• Welcome and engage guests in a warm, professional, and personalized manner.
• Ensure all guests receive attentive, courteous, and efficient service throughout their dining experience.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus, daily specials, promotions, and beverage offerings.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Oversee a designated service section and coordinate service activities within the assigned area.
• Ensure smooth communication between guests, service staff, kitchen, and management.
• Monitor table turnover and dining flow to maximize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper table setup in accordance with luxury hotel standards.
• Verify that food and beverages are served accurately, promptly, and according to established service procedures.
• Guide, support, and coordinate the activities of Waiters, Commis Waiters, and Hostesses.
• Assist supervisors and managers in daily restaurant operations.
• Train new colleagues on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to maintain service excellence.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
• Ensure compliance with hotel service standards, hygiene regulations, and food safety procedures.
• Conduct regular checks of dining areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
• Monitor guest feedback and proactively address service concerns.
• Assist in implementing luxury brand service initiatives and guest engagement programs.
• Promote menu specials, seasonal offerings, and beverage pairings.
• Upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Support the achievement of outlet revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
• Assist with promotional events, themed evenings, and special dining experiences.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure accurate processing of guest checks and billing transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operating procedures.
• Prepare shift reports and communicate operational updates to management.
