Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Commercial & Technology Lawyer to support clients on a broad range of commercial, technology, procurement, and corporate legal matters. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, advising on corporate governance and compliance matters, and supporting cross-border business operations.
Experience working with technology companies, SaaS providers, IT procurement teams, or multinational organizations is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Statements of Work, Professional Services Agreements, NDAs, Distribution Agreements, and Data Processing Agreements.
- Advise clients on commercial transactions, contractual obligations, legal risks, and compliance requirements.
- Support procurement, vendor management, and supplier contracting processes.
- Provide legal guidance on data privacy, technology transactions, and operational matters.
- Assist with corporate governance, regulatory filings, and entity maintenance.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on commercial and corporate issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support business teams with practical, risk-based legal solutions.
- Maintain legal documentation and contract management systems.
- Undergraduate degree in Law and qualification as a Lawyer, Solicitor, Barrister, or Attorney is required.
- The candidate must be based in UAE (Abu Dhabi preferably)
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in commercial law, corporate law, technology law, or in-house legal support.
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and technology-related agreements.
- Experience supporting procurement, vendor management, SaaS, software licensing, or technology transactions.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.
- Experience supporting multinational or cross-border business operations is highly preferred.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using contract lifecycle management systems and legal technology tools is advantageous.
