As a Commis 1 – Pastry, you will play an essential role in supporting the pastry kitchen operations and creating exceptional sweet experiences that embody the Shangri-La philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily production and operations of the Pastry section.
- Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and service in line with established guidelines.
- Deliver quality and creativity that reflect the Shangri-La philosophy.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of pastry techniques and menu items.
- Consistently follow hygiene and sanitation procedures set by the hotel.
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a Bakery or Pastry section within a restaurant or 5-star hotel.
- Passionate about Food & Beverage, with creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Curious and eager to learn new culinary trends and techniques.
