As a Commis 1 – Pastry, you will play an essential role in supporting the pastry kitchen operations and creating exceptional sweet experiences that embody the Shangri-La philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily production and operations of the Pastry section.
• Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and service in line with established guidelines.
• Deliver quality and creativity that reflect the Shangri-La philosophy.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of pastry techniques and menu items.
• Consistently follow hygiene and sanitation procedures set by the hotel.
  
  

About You

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a Bakery or Pastry section within a restaurant or 5-star hotel.
• Passionate about Food & Beverage, with creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Curious and eager to learn new culinary trends and techniques.
