Job Description

Summary-

As a Commis Bakery, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of baked goods in a professional kitchen environment. You will work closely with the pastry chef and other team members to ensure high-quality products are consistently delivered to customers.

This position is based at The Cove Rotana Ras al Khaimah.

Job Responsibility-

• Assist in the preparation of various baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and other desserts.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Monitor baking process in ovens and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients and finished products.
• Keep work area clean and organized to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold quality and consistency in all baked goods.
  
  

Candidate Requirements-

• Proven experience working in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Formal culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
