Project Planning & Execution
- Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities for large-scale fit-out projects from mobilization to handover.
- Develop and implement construction strategies, sequencing, and work programs in coordination with Project Managers and Planning Engineers.
- Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, HSE, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress, productivity, and resource allocation to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Resolve site-related technical, operational, and coordination issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, QA/QC procedures, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Enforce HSE policies and ensure all site activities are conducted safely and in compliance with statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to conduct inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
- Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
- Monitor project costs related to manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Support the Project Manager in managing variations, claims, and change orders.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure scope, quality, and timelines are met.
- Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors to review progress, constraints, and action plans.
- Ensure materials delivered to site meet approved specifications and project requirements.
- Attend site meetings with Clients, Consultants, and authorities as required.
- Ensure client instructions and design changes are properly communicated and implemented on site.
- Maintain professional relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to project management.
- Maintain accurate site records, including manpower deployment, progress tracking, and site issues.
- Support project close-out activities, snag rectification, and final handover.
