Consultant Cardiac Surgery - Private Sector

SearchPlus HR is actively recruiting an experienced Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join a leading private healthcare facility. This role offers the chance to work in a progressive setting that values clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and innovative surgical practices.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive cardiac surgical services while contributing to the ongoing development of the cardiac surgery department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex cardiac surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, and other advanced surgeries.
• Assess and manage patients pre-operatively and post-operatively ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and clinical governance within the surgical practice.
• Stay abreast of current developments in cardiac surgery and integrate evidence-based practices.
• Provide mentorship to junior surgeons and contribute to continuous professional development programs.
• Engage with patients and families to provide clear communication regarding treatment options and expected outcomes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• M.D. or an equivalent medical degree with board certification in cardiac surgery.
• Minimum of 6 years of post-certification experience in cardiac surgery, preferably within the private sector.
• Proven expertise in a broad range of cardiac surgical procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex surgical cases and work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi; prior experience working internationally is a plus.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence and ethical medical practices.
