Role Overview

• Position: Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Location: United Arab Emirates
• Healthcare Setting: Women's Health Center within a Multispecialty Hospital
• Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
• Practice Model: Outpatient clinics, inpatient maternity services, labor & delivery, emergency obstetrics, and gynecological surgery

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for women, focusing on preventive healthcare, pregnancy management, reproductive health, and minimally invasive gynecological procedures.

Qualifications & Board Recognition

Key Responsibilities – Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
• Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions including menstrual disorders, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and pelvic infections.
• Perform normal and assisted vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections according to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Conduct gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures based on specialty expertise.
• Evaluate and manage infertility, menopause-related disorders, and reproductive health concerns.
• Perform routine cervical cancer screening, breast examinations, family planning consultations, and preventive women's healthcare services.
• Interpret ultrasound findings, laboratory investigations, and diagnostic imaging to support clinical decision-making.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through appropriate follow-up.
• Educate patients regarding pregnancy care, contraception, reproductive health, menopause management, and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthesiologists, radiologists, fertility specialists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comprehensive clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuing medical education.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical medical practice standards, and hospital policies.
