Consultant Paediatrician

Consultant Paediatrician (UK CCT / Western Qualified / American Board / Australian Board / South African Board) – Leading Healthcare Facility

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Paediatrician with internationally recognised specialist qualifications, including UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board Certification, Australian Board, or South African Board Certification.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents, diagnose and manage acute and chronic paediatric conditions, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognised medical institution.

Recognised specialist qualification in Paediatrics, including:

• UK CCT in Paediatrics

• Western-recognised specialist qualification

• American Board Certification in Pediatrics

• Australian Board Qualification (FRACP – Paediatrics)

• South African Board Certification (FCPaed)

Minimum 5 years of post-specialisation clinical experience preferred.

Expertise in:

• General paediatric consultations and assessments.

• Neonatal and infant care.

• Growth and developmental monitoring.

• Childhood infections and immunisation.

• Management of acute and chronic paediatric illnesses.

• Paediatric emergency assessment and stabilisation.

• Childhood asthma, allergies, and respiratory conditions.

• Nutritional assessment and childhood obesity management.

• Preventive healthcare and parental counselling.

Excellent clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
