Consultant Psychiatrist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with medical staff, psychologists, and social workers to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, treatment options, and prognosis.
• Maintain detailed clinical records in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
• Stay abreast of advancements in psychiatric research and clinical practice.

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialist training in psychiatry from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in psychiatry.
• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the Gulf region.
• Proven experience in managing a wide range of psychiatric disorders.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy techniques.
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
