A leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant / Specialist Anesthesiologist to join its medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and high-quality anesthesia care across various surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and optimal perioperative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for various surgical procedures.
2. Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluate patient suitability for surgery.
3. Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient conditions and surgical requirements.
4. Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological parameters throughout surgical procedures.
5. Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.
6. Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and critical complications effectively.
7. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
8. Perform advanced airway management and resuscitation procedures when required.
9. Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and international patient safety standards.
10. Maintain accurate medical documentation and anesthesia records.
11. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
• Postgraduate specialization in Anesthesiology (MD, DNB, FRCA, CCT, American Board, or equivalent recognized qualification).
• Valid DOH Abu Dhabi License or Eligibility Letter preferred.
• Relevant clinical experience as a Specialist or Consultant Anesthesiologist in accordance with UAE PQR requirements.
• Strong expertise in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, perioperative care, and critical patient management.
• Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills.
• Consultant or Specialist classification subject to DOH qualification and experience requirements.
