Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie to join our hot kitchen team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to the overall success of our food service operations.

• Demi Chef De Partie specialised in Arabic Cuisine- Cold Kitchen.
• Prepare, cook, and present a variety of hot dishes, including meat, fish, and international cuisine
• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food delivery
• Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
• Monitor and maintain proper food storage and rotation
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as needed
• Participate in inventory management and cost control measures
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Arts or a related field
• Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven ability to prepare and present high-quality cold dishes
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication skills in English
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform kitchen duties
• Valid food handler's certification or ability to obtain one
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in culinary skills
