Director of Front Office

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic, guest-focused Front Office professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

As the Director of Front Office, you will be responsible for all matters relating to guest services and Front Office operations, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality while maximizing hotel revenue opportunities. This role oversees room availability management, guest arrivals and departures, information services, and the overall efficiency of Front Office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure guests receive prompt attention and personalized recognition throughout their stay, addressing their needs and resolving concerns to achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
• Plan and implement room availability controls and strategies to maximize room, food and beverage, and other revenue streams where applicable.
• Maintain high performance standards among guest-facing team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and courteous at all times.
• Provide management with regular reports and updates on guest feedback, operational trends, and issues affecting guest satisfaction or hotel operations.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to optimize room availability, minimize turnaround times, and allocate rooms efficiently for arriving guests.
• Participate in decisions related to occupancy targets, marketing strategies, and rate development to support the hotel's business objectives.

Requirements

Education, Qualifications & Experience

You should be a university graduate with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. Strong computer skills are essential, including working knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera and sales systems such as MICROS. You must also possess excellent English communication skills, with the ability to speak, read, and write clearly and effectively.
