Director of Marketing and Sales- UAE (Relocation)

CONTROP UAE is looking for a Director of Marketing and Sales to play a key role in developing and expanding the company’s business in the UAE.

We are seeking a commercially driven sales and business development professional with the ability to identify and generate new opportunities and lead complex sales processes with customers, integrators, and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, initiate, and develop new business opportunities in the UAE market.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from opportunity identification through to deal closure.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, integrators, and local partners.
• Grow business with existing customers by identifying upselling and additional sales opportunities.
• Lead pre-sales activities in collaboration with technical and operational teams.
• Initiate and coordinate customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Prepare commercial proposals, develop pricing, and negotiate commercial terms in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with management and specialist teams in Israel and the UAE to advance and close strategic deals.
• Maintain a strong field presence through regular face-to-face engagement with customers and partners.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the defense industry or working with government entities.
• Proven experience in generating new opportunities, acquiring new customers, and building a sales pipeline.
• Experience managing complex sales processes from initial engagement through to deal closure.
• Experience working with integrators, business partners, and institutional or government customers.
• A strong technical aptitude for complex systems; experience with electro-optical or integrated systems is preferred.
• Experience in pre-sales activities and working closely with technical teams.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• An entrepreneurial, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, open doors, and generate new business from the ground up.
• Full professional proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Familiarity with and business experience in the UAE market is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE and travel to Israel as needed to coordinate with headquarters.
