Director of Strategy & Delivery - Digital Health (m/f/d)

The Director of Strategy & Delivery (Digital Health) is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping Digital Health strategy and ensuring the successful execution of the organization's transformation portfolio.

This role serves as the critical link between strategic planning and delivery execution, overseeing portfolio governance, enterprise PMO functions, transformation initiatives, and special projects. The successful candidate will drive alignment between leadership priorities, strategic objectives, and measurable outcomes while ensuring robust governance, accountability, and delivery excellence across the Digital Health ecosystem.

The role requires an exceptional leader with deep experience in strategy, transformation, portfolio management, and large-scale program delivery within complex and highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Direction

• Lead the development, refinement, and execution of the Digital Health strategy and transformation roadmap.
• Translate organizational priorities and leadership directives into actionable initiatives, programs, and delivery plans.
• Advise executive leadership on strategic opportunities, risks, investment decisions, prioritization, and transformation sequencing.
  
  

Enterprise PMO & Delivery Governance

• Establish and lead a best-in-class Portfolio Management Office (PMO) function across Digital Health.
• Develop governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, reporting standards, and performance management processes.
• Oversee portfolio planning, prioritization, resource allocation, budgeting, and delivery assurance.
• Facilitate executive governance forums, steering committees, and portfolio reviews.
  
  

Strategy-to-Execution Integration

• Convert strategic commitments into structured programs with clear business cases, implementation plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Ensure effective coordination across Digital Health, Data & AI, Digital Products, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and other transformation workstreams.
• Manage complex interdependencies across programs, stakeholders, and external partners.
  
  

Portfolio Performance & Delivery Assurance

• Maintain a comprehensive and transparent view of portfolio performance, delivery health, risks, dependencies, budgets, and benefits realization.
• Establish KPI frameworks and reporting mechanisms to monitor transformation progress and business outcomes.
• Drive proactive intervention strategies where delivery risks or performance issues arise.
  
  

Special Projects & Innovation Initiatives

• Lead the incubation and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives and emerging transformation opportunities.
• Support concept development, business case creation, partner engagement, governance activation, and operational transition.
• Assess new opportunities across digital health, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and healthcare innovation.
