What will you be doing?
Subsea7 is hiring a Document Controller responsible for maintaining and controlling project documentation in line with Subsea7’s Management System processes.
This role will operate under the guidance of the Document Control Discipline Lead or a nominated mentor, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all documentation activities.
These shall include but not be limited to the following.

Core Document Control Technical Skills
Subsea7 is hiring a Document Controller responsible for maintaining and controlling project documentation in line with Subsea7’s Management System processes.
This role will operate under the guidance of the Document Control Discipline Lead or a nominated mentor, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all documentation activities.
These shall include but not be limited to the following.
- Be fully familiar and comply with the departmental requirements of the Company's critical document control systems.
- Assist in ensuring that correct procedure standards are being used and that all documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Up to date and at the correct revision, ensuring compliance to Company procedures and contractually agreed conditions.
- Maintaining a comprehensive Document Control System as required to meet the requirements of any specific project.
- To be the focal point for all Project documentation, accounting for all documentation received and transmitted.
Experience Needed
Core Document Control Technical Skills
- Theoretical knowledge of Document Control
- Understanding of impact of Document Control on safety and business
- Time-management skills and time keeping
- Communication skills: verbal and written in English
- Presentation skills, speaking in front of a group / audience
- MS Excel Basic functionalities
- Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in Document Control or similar environments.
- University degree in Administration / Business Studies or another relevant subject.
- Compliance mind-set
- Quality mind-set
- Meticulous and methodical approach, attention to detail
- Ability to understand, apply and follow procedures, processes, workflows, instructions, checklists
- Ability to perform effectively in demanding situations
- Self-motivated personality
