Located on Hayat Island, InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is a luxury beachfront resort where island living meets authentic Arabian hospitality. Less than an hour from Dubai, the resort offers a refined yet relaxed escape surrounded by natural landscapes, open sea views, and powder-soft beaches. With a collection of rooms, villas, and residences, a variety of restaurants and bars, and award-winning spa and leisure facilities, we focus on creating thoughtful, personal, and memorable experiences for families, couples, and groups in a true resort setting.

We're looking for a Door Ambassador to join our Front Office team and create memorable first and last impressions for every guest. You'll be the welcoming face of our resort, ensuring every arrival and departure is handled with warmth, professionalism and genuine care.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Welcoming and greeting guests upon arrival and departure, creating a warm and memorable first and last impression.
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming presence at the resort's main entrance, ensuring a smooth flow of guest arrivals and departures.
• Assisting guests with luggage, transportation arrangements and directions while working closely with the Bell Service and Concierge teams.
• Recognising returning guests, VIPs and IHG One Rewards members, ensuring personalised service and attention.
• Anticipating guests' needs, responding promptly to requests and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Providing accurate information about resort facilities, dining outlets, activities, local attractions and transportation options.
• Coordinating with Front Office, Concierge, Bell Service, Security and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Supporting Bell Service operations, including luggage handling, message delivery and other guest assistance when required.
• Maintaining the highest standards of personal grooming, professional appearance and luxury hospitality.
• Ensuring the entrance area remains clean, organised, welcoming and in line with the resort's service standards.
  
  

What We need from you:

• High school diploma or vocational qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in guest services, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Previous experience as a Door Ambassador, Doorman, Bell Attendant or in a similar guest-facing role is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good command of English. Additional languages are an advantage.
• A warm, confident and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of guest service standards and the ability to create positive and lasting impressions.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs, handle requests professionally and remain calm during busy operations.
• A well-groomed, professional appearance with excellent attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods and assisting with luggage when required.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
