Job Summary
XAD Technologies is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare, modify, and maintain technical drawings for civil construction and telecom infrastructure projects. The candidate will coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and timely submission of drawings for execution and approval.

XAD Technologies is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare, modify, and maintain technical drawings for civil construction and telecom infrastructure projects. The candidate will coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and timely submission of drawings for execution and approval.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drawing Preparation and Design
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, layouts, and technical plans based on project specifications.
- Develop civil and telecom infrastructure drawings, including trenches, duct routes, handholes, manholes, and fiber-optic routes.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved modifications.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of all drawings.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and NOC teams regarding design requirements and site changes.
- Review site measurements and technical inputs to ensure drawings reflect actual conditions.
- Provide drawings required for project execution, approvals, and technical documentation.
- Incorporate feedback from engineers, clients, and consultants into revised drawings.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and document versions.
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards, client specifications, and relevant authority requirements.
- Prepare and submit shop drawings, as-built drawings, and final drawing packages for approval.
- Ensure timely updates and proper document control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide drawing-related support during site execution and verification activities.
- Revise drawings based on red-line markups, site instructions, and engineering requirements.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, and measurements from drawings when required.
- Support project teams in resolving drawing discrepancies and technical documentation issues.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of drafting experience in civil construction, telecom infrastructure, or related projects.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of Revit or other drafting software is an advantage.
- Understanding of civil and structural drafting principles.
- Familiarity with telecom and civil infrastructure drawings, including trenches, ducts, pits, manholes, and fiber routes.
- Ability to interpret plans, elevations, sections, and site markups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and drawing/document management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and work collaboratively with engineering and site teams.
- Accuracy and quality of technical drawings.
- Timely preparation and submission of drawings.
- Compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Timely incorporation of revisions and site changes.
- Proper maintenance of drawing records and documentation.
- Accuracy of BOQ quantities and measurements, where applicable.
