The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients across the region.
This is a Full-Time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport and deliver products to various destinations.
- Adhere strictly to all UAE traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery.
- Load, unload, and handle goods with care, ensuring they are secure and free from damage.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery contents against shipping documents and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or defects promptly.
- Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- A valid UAE driving licence is essential (manual transmission required).
- Proven experience working as a professional driver in the UAE.
- A clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai and other UAE road networks and traffic patterns.
- Basic proficiency in English is required for communication and understanding delivery instructions.
- Strong time-management and organisational skills.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to handle and lift goods as required.
- A punctual, reliable, and trustworthy character.
- A competitive monthly salary of AED 2,500 - AED 2,800.
