Your impact

Jacobs is looking for a talented Electrical BIM Engineer to join our Cities and Places team in Dubai. In this role, you will support the delivery of multidisciplinary design documentation and BIM models across a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with project BIM requirements, industry standards, and Jacobs digital delivery strategy.

In addition, you will be responsible for

• Developing and maintaining high-quality BIM models using Revit and related software.
• Producing accurate design drawings, schedules, and project documentation.
• Coordinating BIM models with architectural, structural, MEP, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Participating in BIM coordination meetings and resolving clashes through collaborative workflows.
• Supporting the implementation of project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and quality procedures.
• Managing model updates and ensuring compliance with project-specific BIM requirements and Common Data Environment (CDE) protocols.
• Assisting in model audits, quality checks, and data validation activities.
• Supporting the adoption of BIM best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across project
  
  
  

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling and design documentation.
• Experience in multidisciplinary BIM coordination within building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, model management, and engineering documentation.
• Working knowledge of ACC/BIM 360, Navisworks, and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and BIM delivery standards.
• Experience with clash detection, model reviews, and virtual coordination workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and project delivery.
• Experience supporting BIM best practices and mentoring team members will be considered an advantage.
