Our recruitment firm is seeking an Electronics Industrialization Technician (M/F) on behalf of our client based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The company designs and manufactures connectors, subassemblies, and electronic equipment in the UAE.

Design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing activities are all performed in-house, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour main duties will include:
- Create, maintain, and optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings within the ERP system.
- Manage and structure manufacturing process data in the ERP to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
- Define and document work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for electro-optical assembly and testing activities.
- Perform firmware loading and updates on electronic boards and conduct PCBA-level testing, including functional testing, Boundary Scan, and ICT (In-Circuit Testing).
- Ensure compliance with EN9100 / AS9100 quality standards across all industrialization activities.
- Apply and enforce IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) and IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies) standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and process optimization projects on production lines.
- Participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and production qualification processes.
- Develop and maintain Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and generate Acceptance Test Reports (ATR) to ensure product compliance before shipment.
- Conduct cost analyses and feasibility studies for the industrialization of new products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Supply Chain, and Production departments, while managing external subcontractors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering, or methods engineering.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems used for manufacturing management (BOMs, routings, work orders, production data).
- Proven experience with Quality Management Systems; knowledge of EN9100 / AS9100 is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, essential for electronic and cable assembly operations.
- Good understanding of electro-optical systems and precision optics manufacturing processes.
- Experience with PCBA testing, firmware loading, ICT testing, functional testing procedures, and ATP/ATR documentation.
- Fluent English is mandatory; additional languages would be considered an asset.
