Overview Of The Role:

The Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for managing container operations efficiently from port to UAE locations, as well as handling local and cross-border shipments. The role involves maintaining compliance with legal requirements and coordinating with local authorities. This position requires accurate data management to meet KPI targets and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will efficiently manage the logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, job management, and communication of client requirements to maintain high client satisfaction. A professional attitude, punctuality, and flexibility in working hours are expected, along with strong communication and computer skills.

What You Will Do

  • Handle container operations from port to UAE locations efficiently.
  • Manage local and cross-border outbound shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements for freight and local clearance services.
  • Coordinate with local authorities including customs, DPW, and others.
  • Accurately update data in assigned systems to meet or exceed KPI targets.
  • Efficiently handle customer service, coordinating with internal and external clients.
  • Ensure accuracy in job management systems, from job creation to closure, including billing and invoicing.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and costing.
  • Consider all client requirements in planning and ensure timely communication with customers.
  • Prepare and submit internal and customer KPIs monthly.
  • Timely close jobs in Cargowise, accurately booking costs and invoices.
  • Submit regulatory requirements and online submissions within one working day.
  • Complete any other tasks as required by the business.
  • Ensure processes are handed over 30 days in advance before annual leave.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with governmental and private sector entities.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Diploma or High School
  • 2-3 years of working experience.
  • Fluency in English
  • Must possess a valid driving license.
