ETRM Analyst

We are currently supporting a leading organisation within the energy and commodities sector in hiring an experienced ETRM Application & IT Support Analyst.

The role will focus on supporting business-critical ETRM applications, managing static/master data, troubleshooting application issues, and developing automation and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for ETRM applications.
• Manage static/master data including counterparties, products, pricing curves, locations and portfolios.
• Troubleshoot issues across Trading, Operations, Risk, Finance and Back Office functions.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with vendors, business users and IT teams on incidents, enhancements and system upgrades.
• Develop automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and KPI solutions.
• Perform SQL queries, data validation, reconciliation and troubleshooting.
• Support user access, security administration and system configuration.
• Maintain SOPs, technical documentation and user guides.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5-6 years of overall IT experience, particularly in application/business systems support.
• 2-3 years of experience supporting ETRM/CTRM platforms.
• Experience within energy, commodities, trading or oil & gas environments.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle, deal capture, risk management, settlements and invoicing.
• Hands-on experience with ETRM static data management and system administration.
• Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with data extraction, validation, reconciliation and reporting.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations and enterprise application data flows.
• Experience working in production/application support environments.
