Job Description:

Our client, Royal Shields Solutions, a leading motorhome and caravan manufacturer in the UAE, is seeking experienced Fabricators/Welders to join their manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidates will be responsible for fabricating vehicle components including bumpers, subframes, chassis structures, and custom metal assemblies for premium motorhomes and caravans while ensuring the highest standards of quality, strength, and precision.

The Role

Reporting to the production and technical teams, the Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling structural vehicle components, including steel frames, bumpers, subframes, brackets, and custom fabricated parts. The role requires strong fabrication skills, accuracy, and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble vehicle components including bumpers, subframes, chassis structures, brackets, and support frames.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, drill, and shape steel and metal materials according to design requirements.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding and fabrication work to create strong and accurate assemblies.
• Build and modify custom metal structures for motorhomes and caravans.
• Conduct grinding, finishing, and surface preparation to ensure high-quality final products.
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure correct dimensions, alignment, and structural integrity.
• Use fabrication tools, welding equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and modifications during the production process.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet project requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
• Support continuous improvement of fabrication methods and production quality.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Technical certification or diploma in Fabrication, Welding, Metalwork, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Fabricator/Welder in automotive, vehicle fabrication, trailers, caravans, RVs, or similar industries.
• Hands-on experience fabricating bumpers, subframes, chassis components, and structural metal assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements.
• Experience working with steel, aluminum, and various metal materials.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and welding machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing and production environment.
