Field Merchandiser

Role Purpose

ABM is seeking a Field Merchandiser to represent Insta360 across assigned retail partners. The role ensures products are available, correctly displayed, priced and ready for customer demonstrations. The position also supports retailer staff and reports store and competitor feedback to the Tech business team.

Responsibilities

Merchandising & Store Presentation

Execute merchandising standards and visual display guidelines across assigned stores.

Ensure products are properly displayed, priced, tagged, and organized.

Maintain clean, attractive, and customer-friendly product presentations.

Implement promotional displays, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.

Monitor competitors' merchandising activities and market trends.

Follow approved planograms and shelf-position guidelines across assigned stores.

Keep display and demo units clean, secure and correctly labelled with current prices and promotions.

Install and maintain approved display materials and new-launch communication.

Identify ways to improve product visibility and recommend them to the Business Manager - Tech.

Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor stock levels and product availability on the sales floor.

Identify out-of-stock items and coordinate replenishment with store teams.

Ensure accurate product placement and stock rotation where required.

Report slow-moving, damaged, or excess inventory.

Check shelf and backroom stock and support replenishment to the sales floor.

Report out-of-stocks, low or excess stock, old models and damaged products.

Place compatible accessories near the relevant Insta360 products where permitted.

Update displays for new products and remove outdated product information.

Store Visits & Compliance

Conduct regular visits to assigned stores according to the approved schedule.

Ensure compliance with visual merchandising and brand standards.

Audit store displays and provide recommendations for improvement.

Take and submit store photos and merchandising reports.

Follow the approved store-visit plan and prioritize launches and urgent issues.

Record each visit, completed actions, photos and open issues in the approved report.

Allow for travel time between stores and report access or schedule issues.

Build good working relationships with store managers and sales teams.

Consumer Electronics Demo Readiness

Check that display and demo units are powered, charged, secure and working.

Make sure demo content, accessories and product information are available.

Check basic app connection, device pairing and software status. Do not carry out unauthorized repairs.

Report damaged, missing or non-working demo units to the technician or Business Manager.

Keep an accurate record of demo units and display materials where required.

Sales Support

Support store teams in maximizing product visibility and sales opportunities.

Assist in product launches, promotions, and marketing activations.

Provide feedback on customer preferences and product performance.

Give retailer staff short product refreshers on key features, demonstrations and accessories.

Report common customer questions and staff training needs to the Business Manager - Tech.

Ensure product information is accurate and avoid unapproved pricing or warranty commitments.

Use available sell-out data to focus on agreed store and product opportunities.

Reporting

Prepare periodic merchandising activity reports.

Track display compliance, stock availability, and promotional execution.

Escalate merchandising issues requiring management attention.

Track open issues, owners and target dates, and escalate major or repeated problems.

Monitor competitor products, prices, promotions, displays and demo experience.

Skills & Experience

Understanding of visual merchandising principles.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple store locations.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and mobile reporting tools.

Attention to detail and strong observation skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and move merchandising materials as needed.

Flexibility to support weekend or promotional events when required.

Comfortable using consumer technology, mobile apps and basic device pairing.

A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Good written and spoken English; other languages are an advantage.
