Description of role:
We are looking for a Finance Executive / Accountant to join our MECA finance team and provide operational accounting support across multiple entities within the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accounting records and bookkeeping in QuickBooks.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare customer invoices, credit notes and follow up outstanding balances.
• Perform customer, supplier, bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with VAT compliance, e-invoicing requirements and audit schedules.
• Support banking activities, payment processing and payroll coordination.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers on finance-related matters.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
• Experience in AP, AR, reconciliations and month-end accounting.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT requirements.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CMA – part qualified) preferred.

Working hours:
36 hours per week (full time), 8.30am -16.30pm Monday to Thursday (finishing at 16.15pm on Friday). Part-time and hybrid working available in some roles.
