Finance Manager

A public sector organisation based in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its UAE finance function. This role carries responsibility for financial governance, statutory compliance, treasury management, and operational finance across the entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and all statutory requirements
• Oversee cash flow, treasury, and working capital management
• Manage revenue, bank, and settlement reconciliations
• Provide oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting
• Maintain audit readiness and enforce robust financial controls
• Drive ERP optimisation and identify process improvement opportunities
• Act as a finance business partner to Operations, HR, Procurement, and Commercial teams
  
  

Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of finance and accounting experience
• Professional qualification: CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting standards
• Proven experience managing accounting operations and compliance within the UAE
• Expertise in reconciliations, treasury, budgeting, and financial controls
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Background in regulated, high-volume transaction environments — such as banking, retail, BPO, government services, or hospitality — is a distinct advantage
