Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance – Overall responsibility for accurate financial reporting, IFRS-compliant financial statements, tax filings (VAT, CIT, ESR, CbCR), and coordination with auditors.
  • Accounting Operations & Systems Control – Supervision of accounting entries, monthly and annual closings, reconciliations, fixed assets, and administration of Sage ERP including data accuracy and system controls.
  • Internal Controls & Process Improvement – Design, implementation, and periodic review of internal controls, business processes, and risk mitigation measures across head office and assigned regions.
  • Cash Flow, AR/AP & Banking Management – Oversight of accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, payment approvals, cash management, intercompany balances, and coordination with banks.
  • Management Support & Regional Oversight – Preparation of management reports, budgets, variance analysis, supervision of branch finance teams, and providing financial insights to CFO and senior management.

Requirements

  • Education: CA/ACCA Qualified
  • 5–10 years in similar role
  • English language – Fluent
  • Financial & IFRS Expertise Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and financial management practices applicable to multinational logistics operations, statutory compliance (VAT, CIT, audits), and end-to-end accounting control.
  • Analytical & Control Skills Ability to analyze financial data, review reconciliations, manage budgets and variances, and design effective internal controls.
  • Leadership & Communication Skills Capability to supervise finance teams, coordinate with branches, auditors, banks, and management, and communicate clearly on complex financial matters.
  • ERP & Financial Systems Knowledge Strong working knowledge of Sage ERP, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and system-based financial controls.
  • Taxation & Regulatory Compliance Practical knowledge of VAT, Corporate Income Tax, ESR, CbCR, and local regulatory requirements across assigned regions.
