A Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervising operations of Food and Beverage outlets to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while working with the team to ensure departmental targets are met.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences: Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests, proactively anticipating their needs and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Supervise Food & Beverage operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service delivery and compliance with Hilton brand standards.
- Execute events successfully: Plan, coordinate, and supervise breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, banquets, and other special events.
- Coordinate with departments: Communicate event requirements, operational updates, and service expectations with the Food & Beverage team and other hotel departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee event breakdown: Ensure function rooms are cleared efficiently, and all equipment is stored correctly, leaving venues ready for future events.
- Lead and develop the team: Supervise daily team activities, allocate tasks, prepare schedules, provide coaching, support training, and conduct performance reviews to develop a high-performing team.
- Manage guest requests: Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Support business performance: Assist management in achieving departmental financial goals through effective cost control, productivity, and operational excellence.
- Maintain compliance and safety: Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, alcohol awareness, health and safety, fire, and security regulations at all times.
- Promote teamwork: Build strong working relationships across departments and provide support wherever needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.

- Proven experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and develop team members.
