About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Gaming Porter - Public Area to join the resort’s Public Area team.

Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Report for duty on time, maintaining proper uniform standards and name identification as required.
• Clean and tidy casino to exacting five-star standards according to a strict schedule.
• Report maintenance issues and equipment defects to Supervisor.
• Periodically deep-clean public toilets and offices, dust ceilings, air ducts and other hard to reach places and fixtures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, mops) and return in good condition at the end of the shift.
• Report ‘lost and found’ items and turn over to the Supervisor.
• Act as toilet or cloakroom attendant when required.
• Relocate and rearrange furniture as directed.
• Know and understand all the resort’s facilities and services.
• Assist and perform duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Immaculately clean casino public areas.
• Politely greet guests.
• Address guests’ requests and handle complaints promptly and to their satisfaction.
• Inform management about guests’ comments.
• Interact with Department and Company Team Members, management, and contractors professionally and positively.
• Adhere to the Company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of Conduct.
• Remain well-mannered and well-groomed as per Department and Company standards.
• Follow health and safety standards and strive for constant improvement to avoid health and injury hazards.
• Participate in the Company recycling program and follow a strict discipline to reduce, re-use and recycle wherever possible.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Previous hotel experience in Public Areas would be advantageous
• Highly adaptable, efficient, detail oriented, responsible, and dependable, with a strong memory, positive attitude, and consistent work ethic.
• Good knowledge of proper use of detergents, floor maintenance, cleaning chemicals, equipment and machines is an advantage
• Previous experience in integrated gaming resort is a must
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Communication – Fluent in English
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and reach high areas
• High School diploma, vocational training and/or 1-year work experience
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
