Role

The Global Head of Health and Wellness Development defines and leads the brand’s global wellness vision and strategy, driving the development of innovative, commercially successful concepts across all properties. Based in the Dubai Corporate Office and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role oversees wellness projects end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution, financial performance, and alignment with brand standards. The role also champions continuous innovation, keeping the brand at the forefront of global wellness, health, and longevity trends.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the brand’s wellness vision, strategy, and program in collaboration with Brand and Marketing teams
  • Oversee all wellness development projects, including new openings and renovations
  • Develop concepts, project plans, and financial projections for wellness initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial performance across the wellness portfolio
  • Coordinate design and layout development with architects, designers, and technical teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, owners, and external partners throughout project lifecycles
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines for wellness design and technical standards
  • Select equipment and develop comprehensive planning for new and refurbished projects
  • Monitor project execution and support pre-opening setup activities
  • Drive wellness business growth while staying current on industry trends and building strong stakeholder relationships

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within luxury spa and wellness, ideally in an international or global capacity
  • Relevant academic background in Health, Wellness, or a related discipline
  • Proven hands-on operational experience within spa and wellness environments
  • Prior experience within the hospitality sector is essential
  • Fluency in English and Japanese, with strong communication capabilities
  • Highly strategic with a strong analytical mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver key strategic initiatives end-to-end
