Role Purpose
The Government Relations – UAEN will be responsible for managing and maintaining effective relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The role will support the organization's licensing, visa processing, labor and immigration matters, and other government-related activities while ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Government Liaison & Relationship Management
The Government Relations – UAEN will be responsible for managing and maintaining effective relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies, ensuring full compliance with UAE laws and regulations. The role will support the organization's licensing, visa processing, labor and immigration matters, and other government-related activities while ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Government Liaison & Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and government entities.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various UAE government departments and authorities.
- Represent the company before government agencies when required.
- Stay informed of changes in government regulations, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Process and coordinate all employee-related government transactions, including:
- Employment visas
- Residency permits
- Emirates ID applications and renewals
- Medical fitness requirements
- Entry permits and visa cancellations
- Liaise with governmental authorities to ensure timely processing of applications and approvals.
- Monitor visa and permit expiry dates and ensure timely renewals.
- Manage company trade license renewals and amendments.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities regarding permits, approvals, registrations, and certifications.
- Ensure compliance with federal and local government regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all company licenses, registrations, and official documents.
- Prepare and submit required documentation to government agencies.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all applications and submissions.
- Maintain organized records and databases related to government transactions.
- Track and update the status of all pending government requests.
- Assist employees with government-related inquiries and procedures.
- Provide guidance regarding immigration, visa, labor, and residency-related matters.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a government relations perspective.
- Prepare periodic reports on government transactions, visa status, and compliance activities.
- Monitor service delivery timelines and ensure efficient processing of requests.
- Identify opportunities to improve government relations processes and documentation management.
- Maintain complete confidentiality regarding employee and company information.
- UAE National (Emirati) with Family Book is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Administration, Human Resources, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of:
- UAE Labor Law
- Immigration procedures
- MOHRE requirements
- Emirates ID processes
- Company licensing and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE government systems and procedures.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and government portals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
