Graduate Architect – Digital Consultant

Job Description

WSP in the Middle East are looking for a motivated Graduate Architect – Digital Consultant to join our Building Enclosures Digital team in the UAE.

This is an opportunity for an architecture or built-environment graduate with a genuine interest in technology and digital innovation to develop their career at the intersection of architecture, BIM, computational design, automation and data-driven digital delivery.

Working alongside our designers, engineers and digital specialists, you will contribute to live projects while helping us explore smarter, more efficient ways of designing, coordinating and delivering our work.

Responsibilities

As part of our Building Enclosures Digital team, you will support the development and implementation of digital solutions across building enclosure design and multidisciplinary project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development and implementation of BIM and digital delivery workflows.
• Contributing to computational design and geometry-driven processes using Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Supporting the automation of design, analysis, coordination and documentation workflows.
• Contributing to digital innovation initiatives, including appropriate applications of AI and emerging technologies.
• Collaborating with architects, designers, engineers and multidisciplinary project teams to improve digital delivery and project outcomes.
• Participating in research and development activities to advance digital practices across Building Enclosures.
• Supporting the development of internal digital tools, templates, standards and reusable workflows.
• Exploring opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency and quality of digital project delivery.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture or a related built-environment discipline.
• A good understanding of Revit and BIM workflows.
• Familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• A proactive mindset, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies.
  
  
  

Exposure to the following would be an advantage:

• Computational design, visual scripting or programming.
• Automation, data management, AI or digital transformation.
• Dynamo, Python, C#, Power BI, web technologies, or similar digital tools.
• Digital project delivery and multidisciplinary design coordination.
