Role Overview
Join our hospitality team as a Guest Service Agent (GSA), where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. As part of our front office team, you'll work in an onsite environment, providing professional, personalized service from arrival to departure while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Responsibilities
Join our hospitality team as a Guest Service Agent (GSA), where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. As part of our front office team, you'll work in an onsite environment, providing professional, personalized service from arrival to departure while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude during check-in and check-out.
- Assist guests with room reservations, registration, billing, and payment procedures.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Maintain complete knowledge of hotel services, room categories, facilities, promotions, and local attractions.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to the Front Office Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
- Maintain accurate guest records while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Balance cash transactions and prepare daily reports according to hotel policies.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in handling reservations, check-in/check-out procedures, and guest billing.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Professional appearance and well-groomed presentation in accordance with hotel standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts when required.
