At ADCB, we are seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded professional to lead our Credit Structuring function within Financial Markets Solutions.

This leadership role is responsible for developing and delivering innovative credit and investment solutions that support client objectives, drive revenue growth, and enhance ADCB's product offering. The successful candidate will work closely with Coverage, Financial Markets, Risk, Legal and Product teams to provide sophisticated structuring expertise across a broad range of client transactions.

As Head of Credit Structuring, you will play a pivotal role in identifying market opportunities, designing client-centric solutions, managing transaction execution, and ensuring that all activities align with the Bank's risk and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Structuring & Transaction Execution

• Lead the structuring and execution of bespoke credit, investment and financing solutions for corporate, institutional and strategic clients.
• Develop innovative product structures that address client requirements while supporting ADCB's commercial objectives.
• Provide structuring expertise throughout the transaction lifecycle, from origination through to execution and ongoing management.
• Ensure solutions are appropriately structured, documented, priced and aligned with internal risk parameters.

Product Development & Market Innovation

• Identify opportunities to expand and enhance the Bank's credit structuring capabilities.
• Design and deliver new products and solutions in response to evolving client needs and market developments.
• Monitor industry trends, market developments and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Coverage and Product teams to originate opportunities and deliver tailored solutions to clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders on complex structuring opportunities.
• Support client engagement, presentations, proposals and transaction negotiations.

Strategic Leadership

• Lead and develop a high-performing structuring team through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
• Foster a collaborative culture across Financial Markets Solutions and the broader Corporate, Wealth & Investment Banking franchise.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business growth initiatives and revenue generation objectives.

Required Experience

• Minimum 9 years' experience within Financial Markets, Credit Structuring, Structured Solutions, Investment Structuring, Corporate Banking or Investment Banking.
• Demonstrated experience structuring complex credit, financing and investment solutions for corporate and institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of credit products, structured financing, risk management frameworks and financial markets.
• Proven track record of originating, structuring and executing complex transactions.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders across Coverage, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Product teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and deliver revenue-generating solutions.
• Previous team leadership and people management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate or professional qualifications are advantageous.
