About The Role

A consulting firm is retained to identify a Head of Finance for a fast-growing real estate business based in Dubai, UAE. This is a senior leadership position requiring both technical depth and strong commercial acumen. The successful candidate will lead the finance function end-to-end, serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, and drive financial performance across a complex, multi-unit organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team, providing clear direction and ongoing coaching.
• Oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance.
• Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, internal controls, and reporting frameworks.
• Support growth initiatives, business transformation projects, and operational improvement programmes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, delivering commercially focused financial insight.
• Develop financial strategies aligned with both short-term objectives and long-term organisational goals.
• Ensure the finance function effectively supports multiple business units, departments, and operational stakeholders.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant — ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent professional designation.
• Proven track record of leading and developing finance teams of five or more people.
• 10–15 years of experience within a large, complex, and fast-paced organisation.
• Strong commercial and strategic finance capability, with the ability to translate financial data into business insight.
• Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting business growth, transformation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Executive presence and leadership maturity to operate credibly at the most senior levels of an organisation.
  
  

Location

This role is based in Dubai, UAE. Candidates must be available to work on-site in Dubai.
