Job Description

We are seeking a welcoming and professional Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a positive and memorable dining experience while managing the flow of the restaurant with efficiency and warmth. This role is essential to our operation, as you will set the tone for every guest's visit and ensure seamless coordination between the front and back of house.

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and hospitality upon arrival, making them feel valued and welcome
• Manage restaurant reservations accurately using the POS system and reservation management software
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction
• Maintain an organized host stand, including reservation books, waitlists, and guest information
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a customer-focused approach
• Monitor dining room capacity and adjust seating arrangements based on party size and guest preferences
• Assist with phone inquiries regarding reservations, hours of operation, and menu information
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance area and host station
• Manage wait times professionally and keep guests informed of estimated seating times
• Support the team during peak service periods and special events
• Adhere to restaurant policies, health and safety standards, and hospitality protocols
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hostess or in a front-of-house role within a food and beverage establishment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with POS systems and reservation management software
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy service periods
• Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and dining service standards
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Multilingual abilities (preferred)
• Experience with restaurant reservation systems and guest management platforms (preferred)
• Familiarity with food and beverage offerings and menu knowledge (preferred)
