Housekeeping Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to support the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department.

What You Will Be Doing

• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and maintain accurate records of room status, maintenance requests, lost and found items, and guest requests.
• Monitor and update room status in the property management system to ensure timely room availability.
• Serve as the main communication link between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other departments.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare daily reports, attendance records, schedules, and other administrative documentation for the department.
• Track cleaning supplies, linens, and departmental inventory, reporting any shortages as required.
• Coordinate work orders and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain filing systems and confidential employee and departmental records.
• Assist in onboarding, training coordination, and administrative support for Housekeeping team members.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Support departmental projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Prepare and maintain accurate attendance records, duty schedules, leave records, and overtime reports for payroll processing.
  
  

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in Housekeeping, Administration, or a similar role within a hotel environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with hotel property management systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Housekeeping Coordinator, Administrative, or similar support role within a 5-star hotel, preferably a luxury resort in the UAE.
