As our Housekeeping Manager, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, overseeing the smooth functioning of daily housekeeping, team management, and the delivery of exceptional standards across all our properties.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping activities, ensuring each property is cleaned and presented according to company standards.
- Supervise and motivate housekeeping supervisors, in-house and outsourced cleaning teams for maximum productivity.
- Efficiently coordinate cleaning schedules based on check-in/check-out timings, guest requirements, and property occupancy levels.
- Conduct regular property inspections and utilize cleaning checklists to maintain Frank Porter's cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Ensure all properties are guest-ready prior to arrivals, including complete linen setup and amenities staging.
- Handle inventory of cleaning materials, linens, and guest supplies for all properties.
- Collaborate with the property management, guest services, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Train new staff and provide continuous upskilling for existing team members on best practices and safety/hygiene protocols.
- Resolve any housekeeping-related guest feedback or complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
- Proven experience in managing housekeeping operations, ideally in the holiday homes, hospitality, or property management sector.
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to supervise, delegate, and motivate large teams (in-house and outsourced).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills for effective schedule coordination.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and property presentation.
- Hands-on experience with cleaning processes, checklists, and quality control inspections.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
