Job Summary


To supervise, direct, assist and assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to attendants in guest rooms and corridors as per resort standards

Key Duties and Responsibilities


    • To report for duty punctually always wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
    • To ensure proper grooming always as per company policy.
    • To attend daily briefing in selected areas conducted by direct leader.
    • To champion the company values and objectives such as JDP, MS and Emp. Survey
    • Supervise and coordinate all team members ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service and all areas of the operation are running as per resort standard procedures and policies.
    • Supervise and inspect guest rooms and corridors.
    • Supervise deep cleaning and special task schedules, ensuring all rooms and floor areas are cleaned as per resort standards.
    • Supervise and reports to the HK Manager regarding the upkeep of furnishings, facilities, and equipment.
    • Carries out good communication with team members ensuring performance is effectively managed.
    • Attends and supervises that team attends to duty in proper uniform, on time and well groomed.
    • Attends daily briefing with HK Manager ensuring a complete understanding of tasks for self and team members.
    • Identifies and ensures highest possible standard of cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and corridors.
    • Supervises usage of guest room supplies and amenities are at a realistic cost.
    • Supervises that Housekeeping procedures are kept updated and in accordance with health and safety policies for personnel and guests.
    • Is fully trained on all HK tasks and procedures being able to assist utility porters and guest room valets with any requirements.
    • Has full knowledge of resort layout of guest rooms, corridors, storage space and back of house areas.
    • Ensures all guest requirements are adhered to as per resort standards.
    • Supervises the cleanliness of back landings and all storage on the guest floor.
    • Monitors and maintains the inventory of supplies in the pantries on guest floors.
    • Supervises training needs within the department and carries out on the job training when required.
    • Is fully trained on resort emergency procedures and first aid as per resort standards.
    • Supervises and assists in keeping up to date team member records.
    • Communicates and correctly reports all issues, incidents, or malfunctions as per resort standards.
    • Is flexible in working hours and scheduling as per resort requirements.
    • Conducting disciplinary action and coaching of colleagues when necessary.
    • Is fully from Guest Room Valet and Team Leader Task allocation.
    • Carries out any other job-related duties as requested by the resort.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements


    • Communication – speak and understand English.
    • Previous experience would be advantageous.
    • Computer literate
    • Strong administrative abilities
    • Leadership skills
    • Ability to have a strong customer focus.
