You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:You will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing of the Housekeeping Operations to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.You are responsible to assist the Assistant Executive Housekeeper & Senior Housekeeper in the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department and guide and develop a committed multicultural team to ensure the impeccable Dorchester standards are met in all areas.Assists in the oversight of the daily shift operations of Housekeeping.Works with colleagues to ensure property guestrooms, public space and colleagues' areas are clean and well maintained.Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action.Ensuring guest and colleague satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.You’ll also participate in the management of the department’s controllable expenses.Liaise with external contractors to ensure work schedules are completed as per requirements includes marble polishing, carpet shampooing, façade cleaning and casual employees.Prepare cyclical cleaning schedule for all public areas and liaise with engineering for the PPM program.Our values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity guide us each and every day.
