HSE Officer - Construction

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across mechanical and construction operations. The role involves implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the HSE Officer include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and company safety standards
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and control measures
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with third-party certification bodies and ensure documentation compliance
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions
• Monitor safe operation of heavy equipment and mobile plants
• Maintain HSE reports, records, and documentation using MS Office tools
• Support continuous improvement of safety systems and practices
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical or related field preferred)
• 2–4 years of UAE experience in mechanical/construction industry
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
• IOSH certification
• Knowledge of third-party certification requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of heavy equipment and mobile plants (preferred)
• Strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations and best practices
• Good communication skills (English & Hindi required; Arabic is a plus)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills
