As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for promoting and closing car insurance policies for C2C car buyers and sellers on dubizzle. Your main role is to consult with potential customers over the phone, assess their insurance needs, and provide tailored car insurance solutions through our network of insurance providers. You will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of insurance products, contributing to our value-added services growth strategy.

In this role, you will:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to pitch auto insurance options to C2C car buyers and sellers.
  • Understand customer needs, assess eligibility, and recommend suitable insurance packages.
  • Own the full telesales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Present customised insurance solutions clearly over calls, WhatsApp, and email.
  • Cross-sell other value-added services such as car inspection, warranty, and finance, where applicable.
  • Build rapport with customers and act as a trusted advisor throughout their insurance journey.
  • Manage objections effectively and ensure timely follow-ups for deal closure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and insurance partners to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate CRM records of calls, quotations, applications, and closed deals.
  • Share daily performance updates with your team lead.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly insurance sales targets.
  • Stay updated on insurance policy changes, provider offerings, and market trends in the UAE.
  • Provide insights to improve scripts, insurance packages, and customer engagement strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in auto insurance sales — preferably via telesales.
  • Prior experience in high-volume inside sales or call centre environments.
  • Experience in using CRM Software/Apps.
  • Familiarity with the UAE automotive market, car insurance policies and provider landscape.
  • Understanding of value-added services like inspection, finance, warranty, and registration support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage pipeline and time effectively & efficiently.
  • Target-oriented and strong closer.
  • Team player.
  • Confident under pressure with aggressive follow-up and time management.
  • Strong customer service attitude, work ethic, and a drive for success.
  • Have a passion for helping others.
