Senior Financial Officer (Investments)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 5–8 years

Remuneration: AED 10,000 – 15,000 per month

About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Financial Officer to support the management of a diversified investment portfolio. The successful candidate will analyse investment opportunities, coordinate with private banks and investment advisors, and ensure that investment activities are executed, monitored, and reported accurately.

The incumbent will work directly with the Managing Director, who holds final authority over investment decisions. The analysis and recommendations prepared in this role will inform those decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Strategy and Analysis

• Support the implementation of the approved investment strategy.
• Conduct market research and review investment proposals and financial products.
• Prepare investment recommendations for the Managing Director.
  
  
  

Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting

• Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, liquidity, maturities, and cash flow requirements.
• Prepare regular performance reports and cash position reports.
  
  
  

Banking and Institutional Coordination

• Liaise with private banks, wealth managers, brokers, and investment advisors.
• Process placements, renewals, redemptions, and transfers, and follow up on pending transactions.
  
  
  

Records and Compliance

• Maintain accurate investment records, transaction registers, and maturity schedules.
• Complete KYC documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  
  
  

Risk Management

• Identify significant market and portfolio risks.
• Coordinate with auditors and external service providers as required.
  
  
  

Special Projects

• Support strategic initiatives and reports assigned by the Managing Director.
  
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in investment management, private banking, wealth management, treasury, or a family office.
• Experience with high-net-worth individuals or family offices is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of investment products, including fixed income, fixed deposits, bonds, equities, mutual funds, ETFs, structured products, and alternative investments.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, CPA, ACCA, or an MBA are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and organisational skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
